Thales Alenia Space was selected finalist (3rd) in the category "Purchasing function professionalization", thanks to their application based on Beam-Report. The winning award was for TF1 (TV channel).

The Thales Alenia Space application was deployed on 200 people across 4 countries at the Purchasing directorate. Results: a better operational performance thanks to a climate of trust restored between buyers, the management, and the internal customers (satellites projects). The ROI was less than 5 months according to Thales AS management.

Another measure of success, the "good practice" established by the Purchasing directorate in terms of communication and management, has spread to other departments. Now Thales Alenia Space has more than 800 Beam-Report users.

The ceremony, organized by the "Décision-Achats" magazine and web site, took place on Tuesday March 9, 2010, at the famous Pavillon Gabriel, near Champs-Elysees. More than 400 people attended the event.
